Successful development of flexible circuit boards in Tongling

The reporter recently learned from Tongling Economic and Technological Development Zone Lekaite Technology Tongling Co., Ltd. that through the joint efforts of the company's R&D team and technological innovation, a new type of PCB product - flexible circuit board - has been successfully developed. This product fills the product gap in the PCB industry in our province and can achieve mass production within this year.
It is understood that flexible circuit boards, commonly known as FPC in the industry, are printed circuit boards made of flexible insulation substrates and have many advantages that hard printed circuit boards do not have. In the R&D workshop of Lekaite Technology Tongling Co., Ltd., Liu Yuanyang, the project manager of the company's flexible circuit board, told reporters with a product that is "thin as cicada wings and soft as paper". This product, which is only one tenth of the thickness of the thinnest hard circuit board, is a flexible circuit board. According to the customer's requirements, the company's R&D team has made preliminary preparations and worked together to solve the problem. Currently, the sample of flexible circuit boards for mobile phones has been successful and can be produced in small quantities. At present, the substrate thickness of the circuit board used for the mobile phone sample is only 0.04 millimeters, and the total thickness of the finished product is only about 0.02 millimeters. Liu Yuanyang said, "The main difference between flexible circuit boards and hard boards is their thickness. The advantages of flexible circuit boards can be summarized as' short, small, light, and thin ', with broad market prospects."
At present, Lekaite Technology Tongling Co., Ltd. is preparing for mass production and will soon begin mass production. Shen Guoliang, Chairman of Lekaite Technology Tongling Co., Ltd., said in an interview with reporters that the product is currently in the sample production stage and is expected to be mass-produced by October.
